SiteSpend Privacy Policy

Who we are

SiteSpend is operated by I-SOURCED LIMITED, the data controller for the information described here. For questions, requests or complaints, use the SiteSpend contact form.

What we collect

• Account and contact data: name, email address, trade type, business/currency preference.
• Mobile phone number where you provide it to join the operational SMS program.
• SMS consent evidence: the fact of consent, the exact disclosure text and version shown to you, and the timestamp of your opt-in — plus any later STOP or opt-out request.
• Message content and project data: inbound messages you send us and the project financial data they contain (selling price, labor, materials, other costs), plus figures you enter in the calculator or dashboard.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and marketing attribution values such as UTM parameters, a Google click identifier and the referring page.

Why we use it

• To provide the calculator, spreadsheet delivery and beta dashboard.
• To send operational SMS about your own submissions and account, where you have opted in.
• To respond to support requests and to keep records of consent and opt-outs.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and understand which pages and campaigns bring people to SiteSpend.

We rely on your consent for SMS messaging and on our legitimate interests (or contract performance) for providing and improving the service.

Service providers

We use a small number of processors and providers that handle data on our behalf, including:

• Twilio — SMS delivery and messaging logs for the operational SMS program.
• Supabase — hosted database and authentication for accounts and project records.
• Formspree — receiving form submissions, including beta and SMS opt-in details.
• Resend — sending emails such as your spreadsheet.
• Google (Analytics/Ads tags) — website measurement and advertising performance.

These providers may only use the data to perform their service for us.

Mobile information

Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

Your number is shared only with the messaging provider needed to deliver the messages you asked for.

Opting out (STOP)

Reply STOP to any SiteSpend message to cancel operational SMS. We send one confirmation and then stop messaging you. To honour that request we keep a suppression record of your number and the opt-out date, and we retain the original consent record (disclosure text, version and timestamp) as evidence for as long as we may need it to demonstrate compliance. You can still use SiteSpend by email after opting out. Reply HELP for help, or use the SiteSpend contact form.

Retention

We keep account, project and message data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or anonymise it. Consent and suppression records are kept as described above. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Security

We use access controls, database row-level security, encrypted connections and reputable hosted providers. No online service can be guaranteed fully secure, and we make no claim to hold any particular security certification.

International processing

We are based in the United Kingdom and our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent (including SMS consent) at any time. Use the SiteSpend contact form and we will respond within the time the law allows. UK users may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

We may update this policy as SiteSpend develops; the effective date above shows the current version. See also our Terms of Service.
